Community Partnership with Save the Children

It has been well documented that children who eat a healthy diet are more likely to have better academic performance than those with poor diets. To this end, Save the Children, the 100-year old+ international non-profit organization, collaborates with the Batesville School District to provide food to children and their families, particularly in its most rural, vulnerable areas. Addressing food insecurity is critical to the community school model.
