Faith-based organizations (FBOs) have long played a pivotal role in advancing health equity, demonstrating a profound commitment to addressing public health challenges. Historically, FBOs have been at the forefront of the fight against HIV/AIDS, providing not only spiritual support but also critical healthcare services, education, and advocacy to some of the most marginalized communities affected by the epidemic. Building on this legacy, FBOs continue to use their unique positions of trust within communities to address broader health disparities to improve the physical, mental, and spiritual health of the communities they serve.
