When Raven notices only the wealthy can access the salmon house in the ocean, he enlists the help of X̱ʼanax̱g̱aatwaayáa to bring the house to shore. Originally translated by Kaxwaan Éesh George Davis, Shaksháani Marge Dutson, and Ḵaanáḵ Ruth Demmert, the animated book is narrated by Naakil.aan Hans Chester and illustrated by Kelsey Mata-Foote and Nick Foote. Raven and the Salmon House (Yeil Ka Kudatankahidi) is part of the Our School is Being Strengthened book series, a collaboration between Tlingit & Haida and Goldbelt Heritage Foundation
