Quit Smoking Today poster
Description
The New York City Health Department has a distinguished history of producing innovative anti-smoking campaigns for digital media, television, liveboards in the subways, bus shelters and even for the Staten Island Ferry.
Data analysis found that between 2015 and 2019, the Department’s anti-smoking media campaigns helped nearly 8,000 New Yorkers stop smoking. This approach was highly cost effective. Every $1 spent on a media campaign led to $32 in cost savings for the healthcare system and society because of people becoming inspired to quit and avoid tobacco-related health issues.
