The Water Box
Title
The Water Box
Description
Launched in 2019 in the wake of the Flint crisis, the Water Box was developed by a group of innovators brought together by 501CTHREE in Ann Arbor, MI. Its first partner was Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, which was looking for solutions to provide free water in Flint after the state of Michigan ended its free water distribution program. Since then, Water Boxes have been deployed to places as diverse as Los Angeles, CA; Jackson, MI; Lame Deer, MO, as well as Newark, NJ through the Newark Water Coalition.
